Stop Press - Barney Puss update

We had a phone call today (6th May) from a lady who is willing to take Barney Puss.      I am feeling quite low as he has become such a lovely companion, but I know it will very likely be for the best.   They are coming to pick him up tomorrow.    I have spent all afternoon looking for him for a few last cuddles but he has disappeared - 6th sense?
