12th May - Figeac, Lot - midi Pyrenees
Traveled down from Limoges through torrential rain, but still the scenery was breath taking - so many beautiful houses dotted on steep hillsides amidst rich farming country. A wee peak at Figeau through sheets of rain as we searched for the campsite - looks delightful and we look forward to exploring it - once the sun comes out!! Stopped for cup of tea en route during a short break in the weather (gasping for a Yorkshire tea bag) and it was nice to see Jeff so well integrated into the French way of life....
Having manfully dismantled the awning this morning and set it all up again in the rain this afternoon he has gone for some well deserved twilight fishing.....
