11th May - Limoges

Spent the morning thus - Jeff installing new water pump (don't ask) and me having a splendid (spider free) shower in a `state of the art' shower block!   Finally ready to go out at lunch time as the heavens opened - hailstones!!   Oh well.    Went into Limoges to the Puces de la Cite (Flea Market) which was full of wonderful tat and 'rare objects' (antiquities).   Miles and miles of it in patches of baking sunshine and showers (so had to dash into nearest bar which was a shame...).      Made one bargain purchase which will make a lovely gift for one of two people, (we both thought of different people) but we are not sure which..... hmmmm.
Went to the Gare des Benedictins which is said to be the most beautiful railway station in Europe.  It was awesome with its iconic tower, and fabulous retro interior with a little key board for passengers to play if they wish...

'A vous de jouer' - 'For you to play' - inside the station -
perfect if your train is late - I wanted to try my hand at chopsticks....
Back to the campsite to find we are outnumbered by 30+ new campers all belonging to a French caravan club outing it seems.
Booked on-line our next pitstop at Figeac near Aurillac and Rodez in the Aveyron department of the north east midi Pyrenees.
