The Franglais group
started in January and after 14 continuous weeks averaging 20 people a week
with a good mix of French and English speakers, I thought it was time to have a
review of progress (14/4/14). We had another good turnout and a great discussion,
the upshot being that everyone was in favour of continuing in the same vein as
we have been doing – games, conversation, and keeping it weekly.
This is very gratifying but, I did have to emphasis that I need help to arrange activities. There was lots of energy and enthusiasm in the room. One Frenchman said the thing he liked best was that the group was ‘pas de sanctions’. How typically French and I could not agree more! Vive la France!
