My new friend - 'Angie' the French jack russell

We were on our way to the UK and en route stopping overnight so that Jeff could do one of his Luxury Wedding discos.    
It seemed we were double booked at the B&B so they sent us to a neighbouring B&B..... wow what a treat!    
A most beautiful restored Logis des Beauries  http://www.lesbeauries.fr/  once an annex to a Chateau in stunning Charente countryside.   
We received a lovely warm welcome and since M et Mme were going out for the evening, and Jeff was away to do his disco 'could I look after their little Jack Russel 'Angie'' who was 10 and blind?    Well of course.    So there I was left in charge of dog and logis....what fun we had romping round the garden!!    A rare treat to be able to browse everything on display - fabulous and Angie has learned some English..
We would recommend this for a stopover and hope to come back one day.
